All SJMHA registered players are eligible to try-out for all-star programming offered in U11, U13, U15 and U18 divisions.  Players from other associations may not register to play hockey with SJMHA unless properly released from their home association in accordance with Hockey NL and Hockey Canada regulations governing player movement.  Released players cannot pick any association to register with and must follow the regulations and boundary agreements that are in place between associations.  Player releases are only accepted by SJMHA once signed approval is received from HNL. Every year SJMHA has welcomed new players using this process.
