Brandon Hillyard Awarded Matthew Churchill Memorial Scholarship

Congratulations to Brandon Hillyard for being selected as the 2018/2019 recipient of the Matthew Churchill Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is valued at $2,000 and is open to all graduating SJMHA players. The scholarship is awarded in memory of Matthew Churchill who played minor hockey with SJMHA until his death following his first year of Midget hockey.

The Board of Trustees of Matthew's scholarship are pleased with the quantity and quality of the applications received for this year's award and would like to thank all those that applied.

Brandon is a long time Caps player and is currently attending Memorial University with the goal of pursuing an engineering degree.

Congratulations Brandon and best wishes for continued success on your university studies.
